Notion is the database.
There is no second one.
The app reads and writes your Notion workspace directly from your computer. No PuraTasks server sits in between, and no copy of your work lives anywhere else.

Three kinds of work,
three rules.
- ClientEdits wait in an offline queue and are checked for conflicts, then go to Notion.
- InternalEdits go straight to Notion.
- PersonalStays on this device and never touches Notion. Habits and groceries do the same.
Timesheet entries, reminders and logged interactions each have their own retry queue, so a dropped connection does not lose them.
Edit here,
see it there.
Both directions run on a quiet schedule. The sync chip at the foot of the sidebar shows the last check, anything queued and any conflict.
You edit in PuraTasks
The change shows at once. The app does not wait for Notion to answer.
It goes to Notion
If you are offline, the change waits in a queue and sends when the connection returns. Queued changes are written to disk.
Notion changes come back
While you work, the app asks Notion for pages edited since the last check about every 30 seconds. When the window is hidden or idle it slows to about three minutes.
A full check catches the rest
About every five minutes the app reconciles the whole task list against Notion, and lists any conflicts it found for you to settle.

Setup is a token
and a name.
Paste a Notion token
A Notion integration token, shared with the databases you want PuraTasks to use. It is kept in the Windows Credential Manager.
Say who you are
A required step called Who are you? Pick your name from the team members, or sign in with Google instead.
Names are detected
Priority and status option names are read from your Notion schema when you connect, so nothing is hard-coded.
Today it is wired to PUR4's workspace
The app is built against PUR4 Studios' own Notion databases: Projects, Contacts, Team Members, Tasks, Internal Tasks, Timesheet and Reminders. Early access is how we learn which other studios it fits.
No second backend.
Your work stays in Notion.
Client and internal tasks, projects, timesheets and reminders are Notion pages in your workspace. Personal tasks, habits and groceries are the exception, and they stay on your device.
Ask for early access.
Today it is an internal beta at PUR4 Studios, on Windows. Tell us about your studio and we will write back.
