Privacy policy

The website

The puratasks.com website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. If we switch on Cloudflare Web Analytics, a visit counter that sets no cookies, this page will say so first. Our hosting keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep the site running and secure.

The request access form asks for your name, email, firm, role and an optional message. We file what you send in our own Notion workspace and use it only to answer you and set up your access. To limit repeated requests we count them by IP address, in memory only. If the form cannot file your request, it offers an email to our studio inbox instead, and sends nothing until you send it.

The app

The app is a Windows desktop program that works on top of your own Notion workspace. Your tasks, projects and timesheets live in Notion, and Notion's privacy policy covers how Notion stores them. We run no separate database of your tasks.

• Notion. The app talks to Notion directly from your computer, using the Notion connection you give it.
• Google. If you connect a Google account for the optional Gmail features, the app talks to Google directly from your computer. Google's privacy policy covers what Google holds.
• Personal tasks. Personal tasks never touch Notion. They stay on your computer.
• Your keys. The Notion token and any Google credentials are kept in your operating system's keychain, which is the Windows Credential Manager.

Google user data

PuraTasks' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy

Connecting a Google account is optional. If you connect one, the app asks Google for the following, and uses each only for the reason given:

• Your email address, to confirm which account is signed in.
• Read-only access to Gmail, to attach an email you paste and to turn a label you choose into tasks.
• Google Calendar, to show your events and to place a task on your calendar when you choose.
• The app talks to Google directly from your computer. We use this information only to provide these features inside the app. We do not sell it, use it for advertising or share it with anyone.

How we use it

We use what you send through the website to answer your requests. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it

These companies process data under their own terms and privacy policies:

• Notion, which stores your tasks in your workspace, and access requests in ours.
• Google, if you connect a Google account.
• Hetzner Online, which hosts the website.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to privacy@pur4studios.com. If your information sits in a Notion workspace, the owner of that workspace controls it, and we will point you to the right person.

Children

The app is for professional use and is not meant for anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
